enchanted kingdom

we just visited one of the most popular theme parks in the philippines. it's not a very big park, you can go through all the rides in just a day given that it is not peak season. it's sad you can see some of the rides needed repainting or higher maintenance attention. also, some attractions still require a separate fee even when you avail the all day pass ticket.

new telly

yey. we finally got a new telly after straining our eyes for years from the old t.v. which already produces horizontal lines on the screen. this is like the first appliance i contributed in our home. though i did not pay for it fully. me and my brothers are gonna split up the bill. =D

i tried looking for some info at the net regarding the brand Devant, the one that we have, but i found no official sites about it.

i think it's a good buy anyway. they say Next Base made the TV, and with 30,000php the 32" lcd hdmi ready comes with a free next base hdmi dvd player.

cheap buy in sydney

in sydney, i always make it a point to stop by SES store. they sell cheap clothes. i got a very nice winter jacket from them for only below 20aud. you can find many SES shops in sydney cbd alone. just walk along george street, or enter a shopping mall, in the corner turn, somewhere in the subway...it's just all over the place! it's just confusing almost all of the clothes they sell bear the brand avocado..maybe it is the name of the shopwhere they get all their merchandise. i have a good feeling they import it from china.

a cinderella fan

most nights in japan, i have been re-running the tagalized monogatari version of cinderella to serve as my sweet lullaby. i am in love with the story of the strong willed girl who makes an equally strong willed prince madly in love with her. i like the idea that the prince loves her so much but he just can't say yet who he really is, thus it also hinders his chance to tell her how much she means, though his actions show it.

recently, i have seen the movie "ever after" starring drew barrymore and dougray scott, and i have fallen in love with their their version on the story as well...*sigh*dreamy eyes*blush*

koala from australia

cute koala bears.
sad we were not able to cuddle them. they say it is prohibited to touch them except in Queensland area in australia. though they say that in featherdale park [sydney], they allow you to pet them.

i was lucky enough to hear a koala cry. it sounds like a cross between a cow's and a pig's cry. haha. believe me! even i thought they were silent animals until i heard it for real =D

first time that i was able to shoot the famous mt. fuji. the closest i got to see it, before, was a bad timing so i was not able to photograph the snow capped mountain. this is, so far, the closest that i got.

misty monday

yesterday we woke up to a very misty monday morning in narita. the fog's so dense with the trees slightly peeking through it almost looks magical and scary at the same time. reminds me of the movies, videogames, and stories describing such.
